Fire in gorse paddock

Firefighters tackled a blaze caused by a truck in a gorse paddock in Rockview Rd, Westwood, yesterday  afternoon.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand said staff  from around Dunedin attended the scene.

It took  about two hours to control the fire.

The all-clear was given about 5pm.
