General manager Richard Whitney said the staff of the independent practitioner association (IPA) have gone from 96 to 32 across the island, with most people transferring their employment to other organisations within the health sector.
Six positions had been disestablished in that time, including two last week.
The decrease in staffing was evolutionary, as management of primary health organisations became more independent and the staff employed by South Link Health to support them were no longer needed in that role.
Many of them were now employed by PHOs directly.
Mr Whitney said the process of reducing the staff had generally gone smoothly.
There was only one person he was aware of who was yet to find alternative employment.
The organisation would continue to provide information technology support and financial services for some PHOs, along with education.
The changes allowed the organisation to get back to its core business of supporting and developing clinical programmes delivered through general practice.
