A prowler with a penchant for female clothing, including underwear, is active in the student quarter.
At least three student flats have been targeted this week, and female clothing removed from outside clotheslines, Inspector Amelia Steel, of Dunedin, said.
Clothing items included a dress and underwear.
Anyone who saw a person acting suspiciously is urged to contact Dunedin police on 471-4800.
