Lucky escape as car rolls in Dunedin

A car flipped and landed upside down on the pavement in Dunedin after a collision with another vehicle this morning.

A police spokesman said the two-car collision left one car on its roof at 9am in Kenmure Rd.

The road was blocked while emergency services responded to the crash.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand and Hato Hone St John were assisting police at the scene.

One person taken to Dunedin Hospital with minor injuries.
