Emergency services have doused a house fire in Dunedin’s North East Valley this afternoon.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said crews from Dunedin and Willowbank stations responded to reports of smoke and flames coming from a single-storey house on Crown St about 12.30pm.
When crews arrived they discovered the house was on fire, although it was not described as "well involved", the spokesman said.
Another appliance from Roslyn station was dispatched to assist.
The fire was at the rear of the building and no injuries had been reported, the spokesman said.
