Powerlines downed in crash

Powerlines were brought crashing down after a vehicle hit a power pole in Stevenson Rd, Concord on Saturday.

A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the crash about 9.05am after a vehicle struck the power pole.

Powerlines were bought down and Aurora Energy was called to attend to the wire.

There were no serious injuries, the spokeswoman said.
