Museum learning experience outside the classroom educator Sara Sinclair said 15 home-school pupils from Dunedin completed the ‘‘Across the Ocean Waves’’ programme at the museum.
In the drama-based programme, the children played early settlers arriving in Dunedin who had to stay on Quarantine Island because of sickness on the boat, Ms Sinclair said.The programme was used to prepare the children for a visit to Quarantine Island tomorrow, she said.
