Dunedin cellist Liliana Choi, 10, competes in the under-12 Baroque solo category at the Dunedin Performing Arts Competitions Society competitions on Friday.

This year’s competitions have attracted record numbers of competitors, with more than 200 musicians taking part on a variety of instruments.

The competitions continue at the Otago Boys’ High School auditorium on Saturday and Sunday.
