Dunedin police are still searching for a man who attempted to rob the Pine Hill Dairy last week.

A police spokeswoman said today officers could provide "no updates'' on the investigation into the incident on Thursday evening.

It's the fifth robbery or attempted robbery of a dairy in the city in less than two months.

A woman working in the dairy at the time said a man brandished a weapon and repeatedly pointed it at her, then at the till and back again, as she stood screaming in her store.

Police have appealed for sightings of a white Subaru in the Pine Hill Rd area between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday.
