Details of a $29 million makeover for Dunedin's Speight's brewery were released today.
Lion announced the redevelopment in April after it decided to close its earthquake-damaged brewery in Christchurch.
The first stage - the relocation of its Maltexo production plant from the Canterbury brewery - was completed in May.
In the second stage, the brewery will get a new brew house and tank farm and its boilers will be upgraded.
It will also get new office space, and a keg plant will be relocated from the company's Canterbury brewery.
The existing sales office will be demolished, along with the James Speight's room, facing Rattray St.
