Moana Pool may get a new $4 million hydroslide to replace the existing one if the budget for the city’s aquatic facilities is approved.
The $4 million is listed in the aquatic services budget for 2020, and is part of $16.4 million of spending suggested by staff.
Renewing building assets at the pool, including windows. lighting, pumps, treatment systems and changing rooms would cost $9.8 million, while renewals at community pools would cost $2.5 million.
The budget includes $6.4 million for the new Mosgiel pool.
