Standing for pay equity

Members of the New Zealand Nurses’ Organisation, along with supporters, wear purple in solidarity and stand beside Dunedin Hospital yesterday to mark International Women’s Day tomorrow and support those fighting for pay equity in New Zealand.

In May last year, the government cancelled all active pay equity claims and changed the law, making follow-up claims more difficult.
