A Dunedin man’s night-time ride on a stolen motorbike ended with a visit to the hospital after he crashed and broke his leg.
The 46-year-old man remained in hospital while police investigated the crash and how the stolen bike came to be in his possession, Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond said.
The crash, involving the motorbike and a car, happened about 9.10pm on Thursday.
The driver of the car was unhurt, Snr Sgt Bond said.
