Stuck in the past

Those with a keen eye may have noticed the clock in the Dunedin Railway Station's tower was not working for most of yesterday.

Electrical work in the railway station meant the clock had to be stopped at 5.20pm on Wednesday.

A Dunedin City Council spokesman said as the time on the clock was not easily changed, it needed to be restarted at the same point it was stopped the evening before.

It is now working again.
