Miss World New Zealand Deborah Lambie (24), of Dunedin, at the Think Pink Race Day is joined at Wingatui Racecourse yesterday by (from left) Angela Hastie, of Outram, Melissa Dodd, of Mosgiel, and Renee Miller, of Outram.

Miss Lambie (24) hosted a ''Tickled Pink'' function at the racecourse to raise money for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation and judged the best dress competition.

The former Columba College pupil was excited to be representing Otago and New Zealand at Miss World on the Chinese tropical island Sanya for a month from November 20.

''I'm going to miss my graduation.''

Miss Lambie is in her final year of study and will graduate as a doctor in December.
