Contractors work on Vogel St and at the corner of Crawford and Jetty Sts yesterday as amenity improvements in Dunedin's warehouse precinct continue.
The work involves the construction of kerb extensions, paving and drainage in Crawford, Rattray, Vogel, Water and Bond Sts.
Dunedin City Council senior contract engineer Chris Hasler said the same firm, Downer, had been awarded a contract for sewer renewal and that work was taking place in the area at the same time as the other improvements.
The work is expected to take several months to complete.
