A contractor was allegedly punched by a man after he tried to lock a Dunedin public toilet at the weekend.
Sergeant Ed Baker said the man became angry and ‘‘threw a couple of punches'' at a contractor locking the Marlow Park toilet about 7.45pm on Sunday.
The 52-year-old was charged with assault, Sgt Baker said.
