A young child has been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in a driveway in Tauranga today.
Emergency services were called to the incident that happened at a property in the suburb of Brookfield about 11.30am, a northern police communications spokesman said.
The child was taken to Tauranga Hospital.
Police had since spoken with the family, the spokesman said.
The age of the child was not yet known.
