More than 100 North Island police officers today carried out a major operation targeting gangs, organised crime and methamphetamine.
The officers from five police districts made a number of arrests and seized drugs, cash and other property, Central Districts police communications manager Kim Perks said.
Full results of the operation will be announced by Central District commander Russell Gibson, Detective Inspector Chris Bensemann and Police Minister Judith Collins at Palmerston North police station this afternoon.
