A man trapped after a two-car crash in Counties Manukau this afternoon has been freed and taken to hospital.
Two cars collided on Clevedon-Kawakawa Road, near the junction with Holdens Road, shortly before 4pm.
The Fire Service freed the man from his car about 5pm and he was taken to Middlemore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The road would remain closed for up to two hours and motorists were advised to take other routes.
