A 24-year-old man has escaped with minor injuries after being shot last night in Rotorua.
Detective Sergeant Ryan Yardley said the man was on Clayton Road, near the Mobil station, at around 9.45pm when he was hit in the arm by what was believed to be a shotgun blast.
He asked for anyone with information on the shooting to contact Rotorua police.
