A person has been seriously injured after a car and a milk tanker collided on State Highway 1 in Waikato today.
The crash was on Victoria St, Cambridge, about midday, a police spokeswoman said.
One person was taken to Waikato Hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed as police investigated.
Dairy company Fonterra has also sent an investigator.
