One person has died after a glider crashed at Lake Station Airport near Howard earlier today, police say.
The aircraft crashed on the runway and the occupant passed away at the scene.
"Police have extended their condolences to their family at this difficult time," a spokesperson said.
A scene examination is currently underway, and the Civil Aviation Authority has been advised.
