One person has died as the result of a multi-vehicle crash south of Auckland this morning.
One other person was hospitalised with serious injuries after the crash on Glenbrook Road in Glenbrook, west of Karaka.
The road has been closed while police investigate what happened.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian was seriously injured when struck by a car in Karaka, southwest of Papakura, this morning.
