Police have called for public help in identifying a man who indecently assaulted a 14-year-old girl in Blenheim yesterday.
The incident happened at the intersection of Richmond and High streets about 8.30am when the man ran up behind the Marlborough Girls College student, indecently assaulted her and ran off.
He was described as being in his mid-20s, between 1.67m and 1.75m tall with olive skin.
He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with the hood up over his head and long dark-coloured pants. Over the hooded sweat shirt he had on a black long-sleeve, crew-necked shirt.
