An elderly woman is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a bus in Auckland this morning.
The incident occurred on Stoddard Rd in the Auckland suburb of Mt Roskill.
An Auckland Hospital spokesman said the woman was in a critical condition in the hospital's Department of Critical Care Medicine.
Police have closed the road while investigations are carried out.
