About 80 people from parishes and churches across the Wakatipu yesterday joined the Walk of the Cross through Queenstown.
The multidenominational event started at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Melbourne St and ended at St Peter's Anglican Church, and was led by Father Cipriano Fernandes of St Joseph’s.
The procession stopped at multiple points around Queenstown, including the courthouse and war memorial on the lakefront.
The Walk of the Cross was multidenominational, involving members of the Salvation Army, Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian and other local churches.
