An official high of 20degC was recorded for Dunedin yesterday, while the mercury in Cromwell hit 31degC. 

Temperatures have been high throughout Central Otago this week, with the Alexandra Basin, Maniototo and Teviot Valley all experiencing between 25degC and 30degC.
