The Remarkables skifield was the place to be yesterday as more than 80 thrill-seeking skiers and snowboarders took flight in the Winter Games NZ two-star freeride event, including men's ski division winner Tao Kreibich, of Austria (pictured).
Competitors had to ride down a cliff-face and combine a mix of tricks and style into their run to score highly.
