Hundreds of powder hounds enjoyed fresh snow and sunny, spring conditions on Wanaka skifields as they celebrated the end of the snow season.
The Snow Park closed on Saturday, celebrating with a Rasta-themed party.
Cardrona and Treble Cone held fancy-dress parties yesterday.
The Snow Farm is assessing its trails on a daily basis and plans to remain open for another week or two while the snow remains suitable for skiing.
On Saturday night, 3cm of snow fell at Cardrona Alpine Ski Resort and between 10cm and 15cm fell in Treble Cone's summit basin.
Cardrona Alpine Resort sales and marketing manager Nadia Ellis said the final day was "stunning".
The 3cm of fresh snow and "bluebird" conditions brought out the zany outfits and big smiles, she said.
Treble Cone ski area manager Jackie van der Voort said "well over 1000 skiers" attended the last day, and most dressed up.
"It was one of our big ones, on a par with last year; a similar sort of vibe.
"The Slush Cup [where skiers descend into a large pool of water] was a huge success," she said.
Treble Cone is planning a final, ticketed charity day next Saturday, October 8, with proceeds to go to the Wanaka Rowing Club and Aspiring Search Dogs.
Tickets are limited to the first 250 people.
