Following main street roadworks, landscaping of public toilets and the rise of a new community library and pool, two derelict buildings have been demolished just north of the Elsie Stewart Community Library and Pool Project.

The Clutha Leader understands the land was purchased recently by a prominent local resident, who is believed to be planning a future landscaped community space on part of the site.
