Liz Conway, dressed as a tomato, performs her song Tomayto Tomahto alongside The Terrace School year 6 pupils Max Dwyer, dressed as a carrot; Luca Danischewski, dressed as a banana; and parent band members Hamish Dunn and Kim Froggatt at the Alexandra Kiwilele Jam.

This was the second year a jam was run in Alexandra, and the first time Clyde School and The Terrace School took part in a Kiwilele event.

Kiwilele Jams allow students to participate playing ukulele and singing to lyric videos without the pressure of performing in front of an audience.

During the jam, organiser Liz Conway encouraged parents and Central Otago District Mayor Tamah Alley to grab a ukulele and join in, regardless of their skill level.
