The Tarras Community Trust will present the findings of a feasibility report outlining plans for a $32 million water take and irrigation scheme on August 19.
The TCT commissioned the report from Christchurch-based hydrology consultants Aqualinc Research Ltd, about 12 months ago.
The report will contain information regarding the environmental, social, financial, and engineering impacts the proposed water scheme will have on the area and residents of Tarras.
The report's authors, Ian McIndoe, Matt Bubb and Andrew Dark, have researched options for drawing water via two intake stations located on the Clutha River.
A meeting has been scheduled at the Tarras Community Hall for August 19 to unveil the feasibility report.
