A fund-raising dinner at The Homestead, in Oamaru, on June 13 will raise money for the emergency relief initiative Project HHH - Hearts and Hands for Haiti.
Dr Annie Chen-Green, an experienced overseas aid worker, will speak and an update will be given from Robyn Couper, who headed to Haiti earlier this month.
The project aimed to give long-term assistance following the devastating earthquake earlier this year. A team of medical professionals have been arriving in Haiti.
Miss Couper, who worked as a missionary in Haiti for 33 years, will be in Haiti for three months.
