The annual Weston fireworks display attracts thousands of people to the sports ground as families use it as a safe way to celebrate Guy Fawkes night, and it has become the biggest fundraiser of the year for Weston School.
The display, which usually starts about 9.15pm, is preceded by a carnival from 6pm.
If the weather is bad, the display will be held on Saturday night.
