Fire treated as suspicious

The fire that burned through this house on State Highway 1, 6km south of Palmerston, on Friday morning is being treated as suspicious.

A woman at the property declined to comment yesterday. A man understood to be the owner of the property was later approached in Palmerston and also declined to comment. Police said last night the investigation was ongoing.
