Serious crash in Oamaru

One person was taken to Oamaru Hospital with serious injuries last night after a crash on Parsons Rd.

A single vehicle, carrying only a driver, left the road about 10pm and hit a bank.

Parsons Road, between Tutu Hill Road and Saleyards Road, was closed overnight.

Inquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing.
