Two motorcyclists have been airlifted to Dunedin Hospital following a crash at Lindis Pass this afternoon.
The crash involved three motorcycles at the corner of State Highway 8 and Birchwood Rd, about 20km west of Omarama, about 12.20pm, a police spokeswoman said.
One rider suffered serious injuries, one suffered moderate injuries and the third motorcyclist was treated at the scene and was "able to carry on", she said.
No further details were immediately available.
Police were making inquiries into the crash.
