Thirty contemporary resist-dyed scarves, shawls and wraps are presented in the touring exhibition by members of the World Shibori Network of Australia and New Zealand.
A further 100 scarves are for retail and range in price from $90 to $300.
"Shibori is a Japanese name for tie-dyed, but this is exquisite tie-dye," Gallery manager and artist Sue Wademan said. "Shibori also means they retain some of the texture.
Some of them are pleated, some are velvet and most are silk.
"Scarves are like jewellery; every woman needs one." The exhibition runs until August 5.
