Wanaka police arrested two people for fighting in a public place and one for disorderly behaviour outside the Doughbin Bakery in Ardmore St early yesterday.
Constable Mike Johnston said two of the offenders were locals, while the other was a visitor in town for the winter. All were in their early 20s.
Alcohol was a factor in all three arrests, Const Johnston said.
Police in Wanaka also apprehended two motorists for drink-driving early on Saturday.
