The Arrowtown Promotion and Business Association has launched what it believes to be the first calendar to depict Arrowtown in all its present-day glory for 2013.
The aerial photograph of the Motatapu Adventure Race in the village in March (pictured) is one of many which show Arrowtown as a working town, featuring historic miners' cottages, colourful images of the streets in all seasons and some of the nearby scenic attractions and activities.
Association chairman Adin May said the calendar would appeal to locals and visitors alike and make an ideal gift.
"We are delighted with its true and vibrant representation of Arrowtown which we consider to be New Zealand's 'jewel in the crown'."
Discover Arrowtown 2013 calendars are available for $19.95 each from 20 retailers in Arrowtown and Paper Plus in Queenstown.
Mr May said the purpose of the calendar was to promote the town while generating income for the association to support Arrowtown events.
