Choristers (from left) Johannes Mackay (9) and Julia Lima (7), both of Lake Hayes Estate, and Aria Ford-Squires (9), of Queenstown, are among the 38 members of the newly formed Corus Children's Choir, which is to perform with the Queenstown Community Choir in a Christmas Carol Concert at the City Impact Church on Sunday, December 19, starting at 6pm.

The children from around the Wakatipu have been rehearsing their repertoire, including Away in a Manger and Te Harinui, since late October.

The concert will also feature the Remarkables Primary Glockenspiel Group, musical entertainers Mark and Emma Wilson, Margaret O'Hanlon and other special guests.

Entry to the Christmas Carol Concert is free, but donations are welcome for Wakatipu Victim Support.
