High-achieving senior agent David Penrose has been joined by new agent Tink Brinsley Turner, who had previously been his PA for just over a year while gaining her licence.
Penrose, who has a knack for snaring high-profile listings such as internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom’s mansion near Glenorchy, had worked on his own account since joining NZSIR about 15 years ago.
But he says forming ‘Team Penrose’ makes sense with the volume of work going up.
He also believes Brinsley Turner, having been born and bred in Queenstown and being so well known, will open doors for servicing neighbourhoods like Lake Hayes Estate, Shotover Country and Hanley’s Farm.
She joined NZSIR just over seven years ago, working in admin before being guest services manager for its luxury rental homes division for five years.
It has given her good experience, she says, working with high-end homeowners and international clientele.
Brinsley Turner also feels fortunate Penrose is sharing his knowledge and experience with her.
For his part, he is in no doubt she will do "an exceptional job to service the community".
Penrose says the fact Queenstown’s "in our own sort of eco-bubble" means local agents are in a fortunate position compared with others in more challenging markets.
And he is certain NZSIR’s local branch will be doing a good share of sales to Active Investor Plus investors.
