A winning combination of original music, theatre and comedy will delight heartland New Zealand audiences, including Queenstown, on March 7.

The Bitches' Box and Mel Parsons' Woolshed Tour stars actresses Amelia Guild and Emma Newborn with the West Coast born and raised singer-songwriter for afive-week 22-date tour, which takes in the Remarkables Park Red Barn, Frankton.

The idea for the tour came when Guild and Newborn were thrown together by chance at an artist collective and were given two weeks to come up with a 10-minute performance piece. After glowing reviews, the piece was developed into a full-length work.

The two-time Tui award finalist joined the line-up last year, performing a solo set of music to complete a full night's entertainment.

Pre-sale tickets cost $33 plus booking fee online at Eventfinder.

Limited door sales for $40 will be available on the night.
