Master of mystery Mr Lola Illusion returns to SkyCity Queenstown Casino with a new bevy of beauties who tease and tantalise to music - Miss Veronica Doll, Hollie Berry and Trixie Treat.
SkyCity marketing manager Hope Bates said this week the two shows by the Palmerston North troupe in the casino's Wild Thyme Bar were exclusive to the South Island.
"Both shows sold out last year and we're thrilled to have them back."
The haunted house themed burlesque show by the Boom Boom Room will be on September 21 and 22. Doors open 7pm, show begins 8,30pm. Soul Noir plays before and after the show. Tickets $45 from the cashier's desk. Group seating available.

2pm: The background of all 12 hand-tinted Wakatipu postcards in the== Queenstown and District Historical Society's newly published 2013 calendar will be told by guest speakers when the society launches the fundraising calendar to the public in St John's Presbyterian Hall, Arrowtown. Admission by gold coin and attendees can bring food for afternoon tea.

8.30pm: The Manchester music scene of the 1970s and 1980s is seen through the eyes of Factory Records founder Tony Wilson (Steve Coogan) in the comedy-drama 24 Hour Party People (2002), screened for Queenstown Film Society members in Dorothy Brown's Cinema, Arrowtown. New members can join on the night.
