Director Kate Moetaua yesterday said the cast chose playwright Denise Deegan's parody of wholesome adventure stories because they were looking for something fun to perform. They enjoyed the acting challenges and the 1920s language, she said.
"I think the show is going to be spiffing and I'm very proud of everyone involved."
Daisy Pulls It Off is presented to the public in the Wakatipu High School drama room tonight at 7pm. Doors open at 6.30pm.
The show is on tomorrow at 1.30pm and doors open at 1pm.
• Tickets for adults cost $12, and for primary school-aged children, $6. Under-5s are admitted free.
