Arrests over fraud, assault in Queenstown

Three people have been arrested in Queenstown over the weekend.

All of the arrests were made between Saturday at 6pm and Sunday morning.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested for cannabis and fraud charges.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman in an incident police believe to be domestic.

Both are due to appear in court today.

A man (17) was arrested on suspicion of trespass and was later released on bail.

He is due to appear in court next Monday.

Police could not clarify the full details of the alleged trespassing incident when contacted yesterday.
