Black ice coats Central Otago roads

Motorists travelling through Central Otago and the Queenstown Lakes district are being urged to exercise extreme care due to black ice on the roads this morning.

 The Traffic Road Event Information System issued messages warning about black ice on SH 6 from Frankton to Kingston and also from Luggate to Cromwell.

The same message applies to SH 85 from Ranfurly to Alexandra.
