First Five Mile tenant opens

The first tenant in the second stage of the Five Mile shopping centre, by State Highway 6 at Frankton Flats, has opened for business.

Noel Leeming opened its store on Thursday after shifting from the nearby Remarkables Park shopping centre. The electronics retailer and The Warehouse are the anchor tenants of the $40million second stage.

The Warehouse, which is expected to open next March, will occupy its own 5000sqm building, while Noel Leeming is taking up 1040sqm of a building it will share with party supplies outlet Look Sharp Store. Stage one of the development, completed last October, cost $70million.
