The Queenstown Lakes District Council has appointed David Wallace permanently to the position of planning and development general manager.
Mr Wallace had been acting general manager since January after his predecessor Tony Avery became the council’s property and infrastructure manager in April.
Mr Wallace had previously been the unit manager of resource management engineering.
